The First Precept, Remember your Divine essence, is the sine qua non of the other three. If the meaning and purpose of our existence does not find its source and origin in that which IS Absolutely, we are of all men most miserable.

That which IS absolutely is the Divinity.  "In Him we live and move and have our being" (Acts 17:28).  Apart from the "Him", we are merely shadows flickering on a cave wall.  The course of our journey will provide ample support for these claims.  In the meantime, Remember--there's more to You than meets the eye!  If you want to experience that more, you need merely be open to the possibility that the truth and being of your existence is grounded in the truth and being of the One with whom we have to do.
